ABOUT PLYWOOD
1.2mm-1.5mm-1.7mm-2.1mm etc. obtained by peeling the trunk parts of quality trees of certain lengths and diameters on a lathe. Plywood is the material obtained by pressing under high pressure of 3,5,7 or more odd numbers of bucks, perpendicular to each other (water to water), after drying the bucks in the thickness of the paper with WBP water-resistant glue and urea glue.

Generally, three types of glue are used, these are urea formaldehyde, melamine formaldehyde, and phenol formaldehyde glues. Plywoods using urea formaldehyde glue are general purpose plywoods and are suitable for indoor use.

When phenol formaldehyde glue WBP is used, water plywood suitable for outdoor weather conditions is obtained. By adding a certain amount of melamine formaldehyde glue to urea formaldehyde glue, plywood resistant to humid environment is obtained indoors.
Although plywood production dates back to the era of the pharaohs, the first industrial production took place in America in 1896. After this date, its usage areas have expanded. In our country, the first production coincides with 1932 and continues to develop.

MARINE WATER RESISTANT PLYWOOD

Birch plywood produced from marine water-resistant WBP glue is used in many areas such as furniture, construction, automotive outdoor advertising sectors, packaging industry and boat manufacturing. Plywood made from WBP glue is resistant to boiling water for 72 hours. Water plywood with marine properties can be used in shipbuilding, truck boxes, billboards, park and garden furniture, roof coverings, and outdoors. The reason why plywood is used in many areas is its strength, non-shrinking and swelling, high mechanical properties and ability to hold nails and screws. In addition, it is easy to process and decorative.
